Is there a mailing list to discuss the founding of a GUI standardization effort!?
I realize it doesn't belong on this mailing list.... And, I also know some others would like to start talking too! Alfredo K. Kojima of Window Maker <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For one would probably be interested in talking you someone, I have spoke to him, and he is interested in hearing what's going to happen, so... If a web site and private list is needed, I can try see what I can do to get one going... I by no means am in a position to have any input...most of it is over my head. But I would be willing to lend use of my server for a good cause. Obviously, this should be a private discussion (IMHO) between the people of all major window managers (KDE/GNOME/Enlightenment/WindowMaker/Afterstep/FVWM/etc..), and some people at XFree86, some people at Berlin, and probably maybe XI and commercial X shops. At least until they can agree on some kind of charter/list of goals. So, who has been contaced by who so far, and were can we send people who are qualified and interested? Again, sorry, I know this list isn't the place, but that's what I am asking, where is the place to discuss it? -- "Robert W.
