Hello Kraft-san, Jaeger-san, and folks,

As Kraft-san introduced me, I'm Masahide Washizawa, working on the i18n
test suite development
to the LI18NUX2000 specification using TET harness. Kraft-san, thank you
very much for introducing me.

And, let me explain briefly the test suite which we are developing and
testing here afresh.

What we are testing is focused to the internationalization for Linux, and
its requirements of the i18n are
based on the LI18NUX2000 specification. As you may know, the LI18NUX2000 is
a kind of
Linux globalization specification which were announced by Li18nux in
August, 2000 (http://www.li18nux.org/).

In addition, our test suite will include not only glibc, but also X related
parts,
because the requirements of the LI18NUX2000 specification include various
areas, such as base libraries,
shell and utilities, programming languages, graphical user interface,
input/output method, and so on.

OK, as for glibc, I will report them to you, if we find any real bugs in
glibc.

Best regards,
Masahide Washizawa

Washizawa, welcome on board!

Just a reminder: If you find real bugs in glibc, please report them to
us glibc folks. We prefer a bug report sent with the glibcbug script
but you can also contact us at [EMAIL PROTECTED]
