I think turbo 6.5 is just too crusty for decent results. It seemed to do much better when we ran it with a 2.4.9 kernel. Anybody know what impacts the kernel have on these test, in regards to 2.2 vs. 2.4?
I'm going to try to build a turbo 7.0 workstation box today. It ships with a newer kernel and libraries, so maybe we'll get better results.
