Issue #561 has been updated by Jon Kidder.
I could have sworn that I tried THROW along with the other values and still got this error. I must have been dislexic the first time because I tried it again and it is working. Thanks Clément! ---------------------------------------- Bug #561: Referral values other than IGNORE generate errors. http://tools.lsc-project.org/issues/561 Author: Jon Kidder Status: Assigned Priority: High Assigned to: Clément OUDOT Category: Core Target version: 2.0.2 Problem in version: I have just discovered that OpenLDAP 2.4.33 (latest release) refuses to supply attributes defined by a dynamic list or group when the DSAmanageIT control is present in the search request. I am submitting a bug report to the OpenLDAP group on this. In the interim I assumed I could disable this control by using a value other than IGNORE in the referral field for the connection. Every value specified in the documentation other than IGNORE generates the following error: Jan 15 13:08:22 - ERROR - Error opening the LDAP connection to the destination! (java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Illegal value for java.naming.referral property.) I need some kind of work around in order to sync dynamic lists/groups until this is formally resolved.
