Welcome John! I suggest you to try first the quickstart tutorial: http://lsc-project.org/wiki/documentation/2.0/sample The quickstart show how to sync a DB to OpenDJ, so it's very near your current project. The only tricky part for you will be to manage to sync the blob into an LDAP binary attribute (jpegPhoto). Reach us if you don't succeed. Clément.
