I'm one of the Wireshark developer. The OSPF dissector is quite outdated when it comes to dissecting Link Local
Signalling TLV types [1]. I'm currently working on updating it.
To test the implementation it would be helpful to have sample captures where LLS is in use for OSPFv2 or OSPFv3. No
matter if it is RFC5449 Multipoint Relay (MPR) Extention, RFC5820 Mobile Ad Hoc Networking, RFC9339 Reverse Metric etc.
I would be really grateful if you could send me such sample captures
(pcap/pcapng).
