Thank you, Acee and Peter, for your valuable feedback and suggestions during the meeting. With regards to the issue of purge tracing, we encountered situations where identifying the source of purging was difficult, especially when many devices were involved. This can cause various operational and maintenance challenges, highlighting the importance of quickly locating the root cause of the problem. Regarding the comments from the meeting, I would like to provide the following responses: 1. To address the issue of spoofing, we plan to implement authentication in OSPF. However, this proposal does not aim to solve that problem. 2. Our proposal aims to mitigate the problem of asynchronous flooding of Purge LSAs and POI LSAs by limiting the use of POI LSAs to fault localization only. Delayed synchronization of POI LSAs will not affect the accuracy of the final analysis. 3. In practical deployment scenarios, we can limit the creation of POI LSAs to intra-area, which will minimize the impact of purge LSAs on the network. POI LSA will be effective only within the intra-area to control its scale. In addition, we plan to address the Extend LSA issue in the upcoming version of this draft. 1.For OSPF/OSPv3 Extend LSA：we will directly add a POI TLV to the OSPF/OSPFv3 Extend LSAs, similar to IS-IS. 2.For base (non-extend) LSAs, we will continue to use POI LSA as a supplementary measure to maintain compatibility.
