The Extreme teaching team is absolutely amazing. -------- The d.school course Design for Extreme Affordability <https://extreme.stanford.edu/> is seeking to hire a new *Design Lecturer* to join their teaching team! The lecturer will teach, mentor and support a multi-disciplinary class of Stanford students working with social impact organizations to identify and address real world problems relating to poverty around the world. They will help students build their innovation skills in design thinking, product and service design, and business modelling.
This role is great for a designer or educator familiar with or expert in the practical application of innovation methods to global poverty alleviation. It is also an exciting opportunity for those that want to *teach and inspire the next generation of social impact designers and entrepreneurs.* Plus you will join a very fun, collaborative, and dedicated teaching team. Over the past 16 years the Design for Extreme Affordability course has taught 605 students who have worked with 61 social impact organizations, brought 150 projects to fruition in 32 countries, and changed 100M+ lives.
