be a good fit.

In gratitude,
Charley

The Research Analyst is an expert in all things disinformation -- the key
actor groups, their ideologies, and the ways in which they frame and
amplify particular problematic narratives online. This person knows the
peculiarities and personalities of different platforms -- for example, how
memetic campaigns get their start and move across Twitter or how the
political and ideological beliefs of YouTube influencers shape their
content as well as the conversation. As much as this person loves
monitoring and analysing the Internet, s/he wants to apply it even more --
turning the research into short briefs, case studies, and workshops in
service of critical civic events like the 2020 Census. This person is also
a talented synthesizer of information -- combining myriad strands of
information, data, and analysis into clear and concise written products on
tight timelines.

DAL aspires to be a mission driven initiative where team members leave
their egos at the door, support and learn from one another, and have fun
along the way! Successful candidates will care first and foremost about how
they can support the mission of the initiative and second about their
particular role. A get-shit-done attitude with a sense of humor and a
penchant for learning and curiosity is a must!
