I also don't understand how to make wireguard work on a phone, the more practical application, I think. And I'm trying to find a simple path to getting around restrictions on a Chinese phone, either by sideloading or trusted rewrite or ROM. With plain instructions. The easier these types of things are for lay people to use, the more widely adopted and the harder it becomes for "authorities" to clamp down everywhere ... IMHO
