Hi guys,
After a short exchange with a user, I'm asking you if it could be interesting
to make daily builds either against the 2.X OpenLDAP branch or against the
trunk ?
Hi,
this is a good idea, but we need to programm a continuous build et an
automatic publication on redmine. The question is: can we use rpmbuild
on our server? Maybe jonathan can answer.
Actually, the Hudson server that Sébastien is referring to, is on a
different server (build.lsc-project.org). So, I think Sébastien should
answer :)
I don't know if an automatic publication on Redmine is really necessary
though (I did it for the LSC sample, but it's a nasty hack into the
Redmine database). Hudson can "publish" the result of a build, like
this: http://build.lsc-project.org/hudson/view/LSC/job/lsc-core/lastBuild/
We are talking about "development" packages... would people really want
such a thing? From openldap RE24 branch, maybe, since it's usually quite
stable, but from HEAD it's likely to not be a very useful package!
My $0.02,
Jonathan
