Issue #256 has been updated by Clément Oudot.

Assigned to set to Clément Oudot
Target version set to self-service-password-0.4

Nice feature, we have to add a flag in the code to know that the policy was not
respected, so that we can display the ppolicy rules in this case.

Feature #256: Display password policy details only on failures for
authenticated users

Author: Jonathan Clarke
Status: New
Priority: Normal

Category: Self Service Password
Target version: self-service-password-0.4

I like the new password policy feature built into SSP - simple and efficient :)

However, I think another display option could be added. Currently there are two
options:
* Display the password policy: this displays it immediately on connection to
the interface
* Don't display the password policy

I would like an option to not display it immediately (I'd rather not tell
everyone what the policy is - it would make breaking passwords a lot easier),
but to display if a user tries to set a password that doesn't respect the
policy, and only if their previous password was checked correctly.
