Hi all,

Has anyone setup the SSP to use a text file/csv/mySQL connection rather than connect directly to a LDAP server.

Wondering about storing usernames /passwords in an easily accessible (and exportable) directory, so we can easily export universal data for other systems that require logins/passwords.

If you have done this .....could you show some code, or give detailed instructions :-)

Hi,

sorry, LTB SSP is designed to change password in an LDAP directory. You can use a posthook to update the password in another backend like a text file if you need it, but it will clearly be a security flaw.

From my point of view, an LDAP directory is already an easily accessible and exportable directory, you should use one.
