Wrong search base. Try something like:

 # ldapsearch -Y EXTERNAL -H ldapi:/// -b olcDatabase={1}mdb,cn=config
 -s sub "(objectClass=olcDatabaseConfig)" olcRootDN olcRootPW

Note, your database ordering may differ.
