We use LTB OpenLDAP.
I made some tests with memberOf,but it does not work with posixGroup,
which is used by groups created with "smbldap-tools".
memberOf is not compatible with posixGroup, because memberOf can manage
only DN, and memberUid in posixGroup is just an uid, not a DN.
If this can help, you can use LSC to sync posixGroup in groupOfNames,
which will allow you to use memberOf overlay:
