Thanks for the reply....
the package I want is gdb, while the ltib is processing gdbm and they are
totally different.
So I think this is a bug!

Why are using -m prep? of course this will complain if the package is
already unpacked.
This is a user error not a bug. You should just run ./ltib, or possibly
./ltib -p pkg
