Not really.  Normally you need to check out one source tree per platform.

There is the concept in some platforms of sub-platforms. This allows you to select alternatives. The advantage is that you can switch quickly between the available configurations (platforms) and because they share a common tree, any build rpms will not get re-built when you switch. However when switching platforms, a clean is done and so there is still only one rootfs area at a time supporting the current configuration.
