Hi Adolph,

Take a look at this: http://lists.nongnu.org/archive/html/ltib/2011-11/msg00004.html and try that. The update for lkc was this one: http://cvs.savannah.gnu.org/viewvc/ltib/dist/lfs-5.1/lkc/lkc.spec?root=ltib&r1=1.2&r2=1.1.1.7 <http://cvs.savannah.gnu.org/viewvc/ltib/dist/lfs-5.1/lkc/lkc.spec?root=ltib&r1=1.2&r2=1.1.1.7>

Stuart, Don,

I was able to get the patch for the "(rpmdb: --force-debian: unknown option)"
From here:
http://cvs.savannah.gnu.org/viewvc/ltib/ltib?root=ltib&r1=1.76&r2=1.77 <http://cvs.savannah.gnu.org/viewvc/ltib/ltib?root=ltib&r1=1.76&r2=1.77>

I cannot find a similar diff point for the lkc issue on the site,
Any clue Stuart?

So far I am having LTIB fail on Ubuntu 11.10.

I ran:

./ltib -m config

All the following build OK:

Processing: rpm-fs
Processing: fake-provide
Processing: mkspooflinks
Processing: distcc
Processing: ccache
Processing: bison
Processing: flex
Processing: texinfo
Processing: autoconf
Processing: libtool
...

LTIB breaks at lkc with this error:

I read somwere that it might be because of ncurses.

I installed "libncursesw5-dev" which was picked instead of "libncurses-dev"
and "ncurses-dev" which I tried.

Any clues what I am missing?

"/opt/freescale/ltib/tmp/rpm-tmp.33058" is attached:

Thanks,
Ad.

Can we get the lkc patches from cvs as well?

I saw that you checked in a bunch of 11.10 patches but couldn't
    find them.,.,

    Hi Adolph,

In that case you need to ask Freescale to merge the updates I
made to support Ubuntu 11.10, or you'll need to do that yourself
(you can get a patch from CVS).

    Stuart,

I am using Freescale's LTIB 9.1.1 for their i.MX boards.
Wouldn't updating from here cause BSP breakages?

    Thanks,

Run: cvs up -dP and re-try. Also look on the mailing list

Sorry about the brevity, I'm in the middle of recovering my
        crashed laptop.
