Hi,

I compiled kernel image & rootfs using LTIB, I am not able reproduce the
issue on my PHYTEC3250 board.
I am using TeraTerm as terminal software. Can you please provide more details
on your set up?

Regards,
Giri

Subject: [Ltib] Phytec console startup garbage

I think this might be for Kevin Wells but anybody can chime in. I'm trying to
spin a patched version (for my board) of the Phytec build of 2.6.39 and
everthing is fine except for when the kernel is booting. U-boot comes up on
tera-term at 115200 baud and starts the kernel with the correct
console=ttyS0,115200,n,8 pass line for the kernel. When the kernel executes,
it glitches the serial port somehow and gets the terminal in sudo VT52 graphics
mode and it displays garbage characters until I reset the terminal software. I
never had this problem on boot until I went from 34-39 of the kernel. Has
anyone else seen this? I have tried several different things but no resolve.
BTW the stock build with no patches does it too.
