It seems after I have recursively run ltib builds, the kernel will suddenly become unstable even though I have not changed one line of source in the kernel. I have seen this behavior both with the 2.6.34 and 2.6.39 kernels and could never figure out what was causing this. I build on Ubuntu 10.04 and no errors occur. Today without changing anything but an integer value assignment in one of my device drivers that was used as a constant for a delay call, the kernel size jumped 200+k and stopped running stable.
