No. It was installed,

kernel-headers - 2.6.18-52.el5.ppc64
kernel - 2.6.18-52.el5.ppc64
kernel-devel - 2.6.18-52.el5.ppc64

If not installed, it simply gave you the following errors,

make[2]: Entering directory `/root/ltp-kdump-20070917/rhtools/crasher_mod'
make -C /lib/modules/2.6.18-8.1.15.el5/build
SUBDIRS=/root/ltp-kdump-20070917/rhtools/crasher_mod modules
make: Entering an unknown directory
make: *** /lib/modules/2.6.18-8.1.15.el5/build: No such file or directory.
Stop.
make: Leaving an unknown directory
make[2]: *** [default] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory `/root/ltp-kdump-20070917/rhtools/crasher_mod'

On some ppc64 machines, I did compile it successfully, but failed on others.
