There shouldn't be a problem using a windows DHCP server as long as you can
serve up the file location of the kernel. My dhcp server is on a completely
different box than my LTSP server, but it is on another linux box. As long as
something is answering those DHCP requests and telling your workstations where
the kernel is, you should be all right.
