Hi,
thanks for the input I get till now. But till now nothing help to get
the LTS working.
I tried first to use the pre-defined ip's from the lts (192.168.0.0),
but it didn't work either, same error.
I read on the FAQ something about PXE and that these cards need plain
kernels and not mknbi converted ones.
My clients have a PXE prom on the netcard. They are Compaq Armada M700
Notebooks with the Mini-PCI 10/100 card.
They should be compatible with the eepro100 drivers. On my real
installed Linux Notebook it works with this drivers.
Do I need to setup the PXE daemon and work with pxelinux, bpbatch or
whatever to get LTS working???
On the net are tons of information about all these things, but they
confuse me a bit.
Many thanks in advance
Roger Gottet
