Hello. With reference to my earlier post regarding the following
error:
"Unable to open an initial console" No init found. Try
passing init=option to kernel I was asked to have a look at the /var/log/messages
file and
tail -f /var/log/messages gives the following message
after DHCP messages:
"server rpc.mountd: authenticated request from
192.168.0.1:800 for /tftpboot/lts/ltsroot (/tftpboot/lts/ltsroot)"
where server=192.168.0.254 on my system.
I am using 2.08 LTSP. I have managed to reach the stage where the
workstation is able to mount the root filesystem using NFS. Or does
it? I would really appreciate any help from someone who has
gone through this problem.
Thanks.
