Hi All,

I'm running Ltsp 3.0 on Redhat 7.2 and I'm looking for some help in
getting the workstations
to use the font server on the server rather than the workstations
"local" font libraries. I know
that I need to edit the lts.conf file and set USE_XFS=Y but can anyone
point me to simple
doco on how-to get the Xfs on the server to server fonts over the
(local) network. RH7.2.

The reason that I want to do this is to improve the fonts on the
workstations as at the moment
they're pretty poor. I know I could also achieve this by adding to the
font directory /opt/ltsp
(etc) but I thought that using a font server would be more elegant. Are
there any issues with
using a font server such as performance or version compatibility (the
server is running X 4.0.2
but some of the workstation are using XF86_S3 (i.e 3.3.6) as their cards
are not supported on 4.

TIA's

Pete
