Darryl, I use the Lucent/Orinoco Silver cards which can now be found for about $79.00 each. They are very well supported under Linux. The silver offers 64-bit encryption and the Gold cards offer 128-bit encryption.
For an Access point, I've got a Linksys Wap-11. It works Ok, but requires a Windows machine to get into the configuration. I'd much prefer a web-based configuration. That would be more Linux friendly. Jim McQuillan [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Sat, 2 Mar 2002, D.
