Keld, XFS can be a real pain. I've had my share of problems with XFS. You need to make sure you set it up correctly to handle the number of workstations you are going to have.
Older versions of XFS defaulted to a max of 20. I'm not sure if there is a default limit on the newer versions of XFS. Also, older versions would either handle TCP or Unix sockets but not both. This causes a problem for running X on the console of the server. You'd have to modify the XF86Config file for the server, and there's no way I want to get into automating that with the LTSP install. So for now, if you want to run AbiWord, you need to manually setup XFS. Jim.
