New to LTSP I just setup both server and client.
With an etherboot disk I tried to boot a work station; but server doesn't
answer.

The Probing of the workstation card have been done and the MAC adress of the
card 00:30:1B:07:74:58 is given
On the workstation screen I get a message : Searching for server (DHCP)...

With tcpdump on the server I check what's coming by ETH0:

00:16:00.180662 0:48:54:73:be:fd > Brodcast null I (s=0,r=0,c) len=42
00:16:17.530662 0.0.0.0.bootpc . 255.255.255.255.bootps: xid:ox1b07a7f2
secs:313 file ""[bootp]
00:16:57.850662 0.0.0.0.bootpc . 255.255.255.255.bootps: xid:ox1b07a7f2
secs:313 file ""[bootp]
00:18:17.330662 0.0.0.0.bootpc . 255.255.255.255.bootps: xid:ox1b07a7f2

It's the same every time I try a boot on the work station.

Did somebody can help?

Michel
