Read your post for 500 Nos Thin Client ,
There are two products which will work with LTSP,
One is the popular know THIN CLIENTS which are manufactured by WYSE /
Neoware / VXL etc. These Thin Clients come with a embedded Linux Client
and Citrix Ica client also.
These connects to Linux server (without LTSP on linux Server) using
XDMCP , Short fall of these Thin client
1) cost is more
2) Local Printing Support and Sound support
Removing the DOC (Disk-on-Chip) from the board of these Thin client ,
these clients will boot using PXE boot.
Other one is
LBT ( Linux Based Terminals)
These are based on LTSP with all functionality, with much lower cost.
Based on Intel 810 board with Celeron and 64 MB RAM with 370 Socket CPU.
