You are probably trying to make PXE load the kernel and PXE just doesn't
do kernels; it wants an intermediate "NBP" loader. LTSP normally loads
via Etherboot, so you NBP should be a PXE bootable Etherboot image for
your nic from www.rom-o-matic.net.

OK, if it *still* doesn't work, check the howto *again*, then email the
etherboot-users list. Etherboot via PXE is fairly recent, so it's
possible that there are still problems with it (or, more to the point,
the BIOSen it uses).

Then the LTSP side is OK. You just need PXE to chain Etherboot.
