Hello,

I am trying to setup 6 virtual terminals on an LTSP client and I have
the following entry in. : /opt/ltsp/i386/etc/inittab

10:5:respawn:/bin/start_telnet tty4 /bin/bash --login
11:5:respawn:/bin/start_telnet tty4 /bin/bash --login
12:5:respawn:/bin/start_telnet tty4 /bin/bash --login
13:5:respawn:/bin/start_telnet tty4 /bin/bash --login

This doesn't work, so I tried putting

10:5:respawn:/bin/startsess tty1 /bin/bash --login
11:5:respawn:/bin/startsess tty2 /bin/bash --login
12:5:respawn:/bin/startsess tty3 /bin/bash --login

This didn't work either.

They just drop you to a # prompt. Does anyone knows how to fix this?

I want the client to work just like the server with Alt-F1 to F6 being
used for terminals anf F7 runs X

Incidently on the server (Red Hat 7.2/LTSP 3.0) it drops to a # prompt
on Alt-F1.
