wrong assumption.I didn't want to sound off because i'm still in
the beginning of the rollout phase. I am dropping ltsp servers in all the
company locations, mostly to run open office and to act as display servers
for scanned images. all the servers are ibm netfinity 2200 series, 2
processor. i would be very reluctant to use a single processor server in
multiuser environment. i use single processor servers for specialized
tasks, like virus scanning of emails. a 2200 series server runs at about
$800 new and comes with 3 year on-site warranty. additional processor is
about $500.
