Hello, I have set up LTSP 3.0.4 /RH 7.2. My workstation boots but ends up with the grey screen with the big X.
I have read the docs, /etc/inittab contains "x:5:respawn:/etc/X11/prefdm -nodaemon" netstat -ap | grep xdmcp gives this..... "udp 1728 0 *:xdmcp *:* 1491/gdm" "SERVER=" is set to the correct IP in lts.conf, along with the line "XDM_SERVER=" /etc/X11/xdm/xdm-config has this line "DisplayManager.requestPort: 0" commented out. Xacess has this line * #any host can get a login window. and [xdmcp] is set to Enable=true in gdm.conf. What am I doing wrong????? HELP!
