I came across this same problem last week. The client does load the sound
modules correctly and netscape 4.79 does run locally all right, but running
flash video does not produce any sound. I spent the time I had over the
weekend correcting the failed host resolution problem on the client (which was
easy, there's a line to add to the lts.conf file to create the local
/etc/resolv.conf file), and I also have to set up local printing on the
workstations, I don't know if I will be able to spend enough time on these
issues next weekend to correct them, I think I'll give sound priority but
there's nothing I can do before then.
