detail: I test ltsp on one server and workstation A , workstation B
1. ltsp server: RedHat linux 70, xwindow 4.0.2,
2. workstation A: clone PC with S3 video
card,
case A-1: with complete installed to Hard Drive from RedHat 7.0 CD , local boot ok, local Xwindow ok. run: X -query MyLtspServerName graphical login wndows appear, login ok , all work fine. case A-2:
on ltsp server ,installed ltsp_x336_s3-3.0.0-0.i386.rpm rebuild kernel and for S3, run buildk to add ltsp header for this new kernal remote boot ok, remote boot,
graphical login window appear, login ok , all work fine. 3. workstation B: Geode all in one board, with National Semiconductor's SC2200 Geode case B-1: with complete installed to Hard Drive from RedHat 7.0 CD , as per the NS suggestions by:
do the kernel change to 2.4.0 and Xwindow version change to X4.0.1 download file :

command:
start_ws then Screen in blue color and a mouse cursor appear, but ----"No graphical login window"---- ------------------------------------ question: because Geode only support FrameBuffer driver for linux, the ltsp generated /etc/XF86Config : .... SubSection "Display" Depth 16 Modes "default" Modes must set to "default" , else X fail to start. the Modes for S3 is Modes "800x600" .... is this the key point for the "No graphical login window" ?
if yes how do i make Geode's XF86Config to accept Modes "800x600" .... if not , is there any answer ?
