Hey all,
I hope you can help, I've exhausted my arsenal of knowledge on this one
(small as it is).

I'm running RedHat 7.3 on the ltsp server (192.168.5.12) and have
installed ltsp from tarballs:

        ltsp_core-3.0.5-i386.tgz
        ltsp_kernel-3.0.4-i386.tgz
        ltsp_x_core-3.0.1-i386.tgz
        ltsp_x_fonts-3.0.0-i386.tgz

before running the install.sh on ltsp_core I modified the config file to
suite my network ie: 192.168.5.0

I have followed all of the instructions to the letter listed in the
Documents page on the ltsp.org website including the troubleshooting
section.

When the workstation boots up, I get as far as the following lines:

..Me: 192.168.5.100, Server: 192.168.5.12, Gateway 192.168.5.1
Loading 192.168.5.12:/lts/vmlinuz-2.4.18-ltsp-1 ...(NBI)... ......._

Then it just sits there with a blinking cursor... taunting me.

I've tried tftp from another machine (192.168.5.10) and can successfully
connect to 192.168.5.12 and do a:

        tftp> get /lts/vmlinuz-2.4.18-ltsp-1
Received 1415027 bytes in 0.5 seconds

So I assume tftp in working properly.

I can also manually mount all of the exported filesystems in the
/etc/exports file from the same machine in the tftp test.

listing of /etc/exports:

## LTS-end ##

portmap is running,
mountd is running,
nfs is running.

The workstation is listed in the hosts file on 192.168.5.12 (ltsp
server).

I'm stumped. Anyone got any ideas what might be holding thing up?

Thanks for your help.

james
