Ian, Is 192.168.0.1 really the LTSP server ?
there's a few commands you can run, to help us figure this out: 1) showmount -e 2) grep portmap /etc/hosts.allow 3) rpcinfo -p 4) iptables -L or ipchains -L Is your workstation listed in the /etc/hosts file ? What is the IP address of your workstation ? Answers to those questions will probably tell us what the problem is.
