>On your SuSE 8.1 box change the version >number in /etc/SuSE-release >temporarily to 8.0 then all will work fine. I've done this a few weeks ago - it didn't work (at my Server). After this Martin Herweg has changed the suse.sh-script in /ltsp_core -> now it works :-) you've to change the old suse.sh and add a sym.link suse-8.1.sh to this suse.sh-script. If somebody wants the suse.sh-script I can send it to him - you've got to work with the *.tgz-packages - there is no *.rpm-package available.
