I appreciate that this is not especially a ltsp question, more of a telnet question. But if I don't get an answer here, I don't think I'll get one anywhere.
My question is this : I've got some old 486 machines that I was going to use as character-based terminals, and they do work quite well like this, but I can't get them to use the 25 display lines that they have - I can only get them to use 24 lines. I've searched and searched for an answer to this, but to no avail. Information I have found so far is that the 24 lines thing is a telnet limitation, but that I could try: export LINES=25 stty -F /dev/ttyp1 rows 25 /* li=25 /* in linux section of termcap (terminal type comes up as linux) I've done all of these, but no good. Anyone out there able to suggest anything else I could try ?
