Isn't this what the Mandrake mosix terminal server project is trying to do for free? Can't wait to see what comes from it.


As for hardware, I'm thinking you could cut costs in some instances by including the technology from the project below into ltsp. Especially useful when two users desks are near to each other.

This empowers one PC to become two workstations. You effectivly halve the cost of the CPU and Network card. I'm seriously thinking of building one of these up with the most excellent VIA EPIA C3 motherboards, between house renovations, going to the beach and summer break. Would be nice to get it running on ltsp clients (include in the release somewhere down the road) don't you think?
