The only thing that looks a little strange to me is
under [ws001] you have both....

[ws001]
        XSERVER            = auto
      XF86CONFIG_FILE    = XF86Config.ws001

Don't know if it's the problem, but I'd move the "XSERVER = auto"
up to the [Default] section and leave the 
XF86CONFIG_FILE = XF86Config.ws001 under [ws001]
at least that's how I use it.
