Hi! I’m new to ltsp and got it running after a week of solving various problems. First problem was, that my server is running under SuSE8.1. But now I’m running into trouble with the Xserver. My client is based on an AMD-K6/2-500 with TNT2Pro-graphicsboard and 256megs. Everything is going well, until runlevel 5 is initiated. I get this error message: “fatal server error:Could not create lock file in /tmp/.tX0-lock” echoed in it, everything fine. mount reports, that /dev/ram1 is mounted on /tmp
As mentioned above: dhcp, tftp and nfs are configured the right way, I can see the thin’s-syslog-messages on my server.
I wanted to use the thinclient as a multimediacenter for video and audio playback.
