It works, so something you'r doing is wrong Sounds like tvwm is being run which is the default if no other wm is found so what wm are you trying to run [on your server] can you startx with .xsession copied to .xinitrc for starters you can do something like this ---- .xsession icewm -------------- James ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SlickEdit Inc.
