I have an old workstation I like to use. Got it all up and running up to the point of starting the graphical user interface to log on.
It can't detect the Xserver to use. I've tried manually setting it to XF86_SVGA but the same result; blank screen with no cross-pointer or log-on screen. Is there a XF86_VGA or XF86_WDC. (for Western Digital)
I discovered the machine uses a Western digital graphics card. Any suggestions of which X-server I should set in my lts.conf?
