Hi all, I'm a bit new to LTSP and am in the process of defining a new network using ltsp and thin clients.
The server i've got available is a dual p3 1.4 with 1gb of ram (2GB MAX) running linux ( prob redhat 9.0). I want the clients to run the following apps : mozilla web browser, mozilla mail, & open office. The gui will proably be something minimal. my questions then are : 1. how many thin clients can this server realisticaly serve at one time ? 2 .Can i install further 'heavy duty' apps on a flash disk on each client ?? I apologise in advance if these questions are lame, but as i said i'm an ltsp noob. LTSP appears to be agreat peice of software though, and this forum is a goldmine of info.
