1. How can i check are the apllications are realy
        local? top, ps etc. are running at the Server and not at the Client.

2.      I don't understand the local-apllication-script. (Documentation LTSP
3.0)

        HOST=`echo $DISPLAY | awk -F: '{print $1}'`
        rsh ${HOST} MOZILLA_HOME=/opt/lts/i386/usr/local/netscape
opt/lts/i386/usr/local/netscape -display ${DISPLAY}

        in my opinion it isn't possible to run this script on the LTSP-Server.
        At the Server the HOST variable is filled with blanks, at the client with
the client-name.
        why i need a rsh ${HOST} ........? The Script at the Server doesn't work
because the HOST is empty.
        At the Client i don't need a rsh session with myself.
        Can anybody explain this script?

3. Is it possible to use the Floppy or HDD at the Client?

4. is it possible to use the OpenOffice 1.1 as a local Apllication?

Thanks Wolfgang
