I have 3 client machines made up of 1 old IBM machine, and 2 Wyse Linux terminals...The server is running SuSE 9. (will I have better luck with another distro?)
In my dhcpd.conf file I am providing the pxelinux.0 file when dhcp issues the static ip to each machine (I have an issue with retaining the IP on the Wyse terms. if I go strictly dynamic) During the boot process, I check my logs on the server and I see the following: tftp: client does not accept options is that something I should be concerned about? Is there a way I can fix this? Now, on the workstations, the boot up stops at the following message rc.sysinit completed, switching to multi-session mode ??????? That is where I stuck... Does LTSP keep logs on the server anywhere? One other thing...I am having trouble getting my DNS running correctly, so I added entries for the clients on LTSP server's hosts file... ------------------------------------------------------- The SF.Net email is sponsored by EclipseCon 2004 Premiere Conference on Open Tools Development and Integration See the breadth of Eclipse activity.
