which ltsp kernel do you have (/tftpboot/lts/...)?
which ltsp 3 or 4?
do you have same network cards on server and workstation?

I have tried ltsp 4 on suse and ltsp 3 and 4 on gentoo, but all these with the same kernel (ltsp 3).
as far as permissions, on gentoo I even tried 777-ing whole var, nothing helped, just gdm complained :-), changed back to 755/750 then.


seems we have same mount problems
