The server is a PIV 1.6 Ghz with 500Mb ram, 400Mb swapspace.
First is this message at the server or client?
The netswap_low_memory message is on the client and so is the output from free.
AT the client you are
likely to get memory drop messages if you are running with less than 32MB.
Client has 16384K according to the boot check.
Although if you have enabled "USE_NFS_SWAP = Y" in client portion
of lts.conf then machine will boot.
I have. It boots fine, and more, but sometimes seems a bit sluggish.
For the server the above two lines are not jellying. Your machine is
reporting only about 128MB
Sorry? Where do you see that?
(assuming output is in K's - default) you say
server has 500MB RAM. Check out BIOS...what does that report?
'free' on server reports 519Mb ram
Thanks for your time, Andrew
