Hello,

some time ago I've tried LTSP on Linux PPC at iSeries and it
functioned problem-free.

I simply copied an i386 "/opt/ltsp.." directory onto iSeries Linux,
created /tftpboot containing the x86 kernels and then configured
tftp, nfs and X.
That's all.

Thanks for the response.

Just to clarify, we want to run the LTSP server on the Linux/AS400 LPAR
but the clients will remain X86 based.

Do you see any issues with this configuration as the AS400 is PPC based? I
can't see any real issue as there really is no server side components
executed besides the xserver that the client connects to. Is this a
correct assumption?
